Our story

How we started

Eco Data Technologies started in Lagos with a simple idea: official economic data should be easy to find, easy to understand and free to reuse.

We began with Nigeria: its budgets, tax system, stock market, foreign exchange and industries. Every day we collect figures from the National Bureau of Statistics, the Central Bank of Nigeria, the Nigerian Exchange and government ministries, check them, explain them in plain language and publish them with their source and date.

We are now building the same depth and clarity for every economy, region by region.
