Services make up more than half of output
Shares of real GDP and real year-on-year growth, Q2 2026. Nigeria rebased its GDP to a 2019 base year in July 2025, which raised the weight of services and agriculture.
Ten activities make up four-fifths of the economy
Trade, crop production and real estate together account for almost half of real GDP.
Which sectors are growing fastest?
Real year-on-year growth for each sector against the economy as a whole. Periods are Q2 2026 unless marked.
